Reiki isnt about believing in anything
It’s about what your nervous system does when it finally feels safe enough to rest.
Reiki is a relaxation-based, light-touch practice where a practitioner places their hands lightly on or just above your body while you rest fully clothed. The goal is to help your body shift into a deeply relaxed state ________________________________________________
Research shows Reiki is associated with:

• Increased parasympathetic (rest + repair) activation

In simple terms, the body shifts out of survival mode and into healing mode.
Science hasn’t fully mapped the exact mechanism yet, but the outcomes are clear.
Deep rest, attuned presence, and gentle therapeutic touch create measurable changes in the nervous system.
That’s why I sometimes offer Reiki during savasana.
Not to “fix” you but to support your body’s own intelligence to settle, integrate, and restore.
You don’t need to try harder. You don’t need to understand it all.
You just need to lie down.
